A fewdays ago I tried playing a blu ray (Incredible Hulk) in my ps3 and it played at first by showing the warning sign and studio logo but then after that when the blu ray loading bar appeared my tv just kept showing the 'detecting' message. Install ubuntu software center in kali linux wallpaper. Then I tried The Walking Dead season 1 and after the loading bar dissipeared my tv stayed on 'detecting'. When I put in K-ON the Bandai logo played but when I hit menu the tv froze stayed on detecting again. Finally When I put in Batman Begins the previews played fine but when I hit the menu button once again the tv kept 'detecting'. I did the most recent playstation update and ps3 games and DVD's play no problem. Does anyone know what I should do?

Although this doesn't help your current problem, the PS3 is region free for PS3 games (you can play games from any region). To work around this, I propose either ripping the DVD to your computer, then burning it onto a different DVD or streaming the DVD directly from your computer to the PS3.
