Movie Title Screens - Introduction: Title screens are the initial titles, usually projected at the beginning of a film, and following the logos of the film studio. They are often an ignored aspect of films, although they reflect the time period or era of the film, the mood or design of the film, and much more.
Hello everyone, welcome to the 'title screen' for Super Mario World U (SMWU), my traditional SMW game! This is a labor of love and made with admiration for the original SMW.
The levels are meant to be played in order (with exceptions of bonus stages that are not regularly numbered) in order to get the best gameplay experience! Clicking the links under “bookmark” and bookmarking the courses in sequential order (or simply finding them in my profile) is a very simple way to play the levels in order.
Here are some things you can expect and look out for in playing through Super Mario World U:
SMWU honors the original SMW while utilizing some of the novel features found in Super Mario Maker.
Each world features a unique aesthetic, with the individual levels representative of that, but very much able to stand on their own as a new experience!
There are several pink coins (and a locked door!) hidden in every stage, along with other secrets!
While every world has around 7 consecutive levels, additional “bonus” stages will also be present! These stages are indicated with a special symbol rather than a number. These include Secret courses (as seen in SMW!), indicated by a “?”. Also, special remixes such as Time Challenge challenges, where a level in the world has been adjusted for a speedrun type of challenge, as indicated by “#!”.
Until such a time where the online course world allows makers to adjust the order in which their courses are in, I hope this page (and the numbering sequence of my courses!) will allow for ease of access and playability.
Enjoy!

As you may have noticed, the first world was released all at once (with previous individual stages modified). By doing so, it was a commitment on my part to be diligent with well-designed levels and to prove that I am intent in completing this very enjoyable project! I have plans for at least 6 to 7 more worlds, however I will not release them one world at a time as I did with world 1. Every new level will be submitted as they are completed from here on out. That may result in levels coming out in small bunches, or one at a time.
For future level releases, updates, trailers, videos, images, etc., I’ll be editing the SMWU title screen here. I would appreciate your feedback, comments and ideas in order to ensure I can provide you with the best gaming experience that I can! So please don't hesitate to comment or message me, I would love to hear from you!
If you have recorded playing through any of my levels, I would love if you shared that with me!
Thanks for playing!
